There are all sorts of online data storage options for photographs. Some of them are as simple as Facebook, and others are professional services that also offer the option of purchasing prints of all of the photographs on the site. I know many people that use websites such as Flickr, Picasa or Photo Bucket. Those are all great options to be able to story all of your photography, without having to take up any of your own hard drive space. I know a lot of my friends that are photographers keep profiles on sites like those where everyone that can see all of the pictures that they have been taking. As a writer, sometimes my photographers get my their pictures through online date storage sites. Sometimes, if I was at a concert but did not have a camera, I will look on those sites for pictures from that concert to use for my blog. I will contact the photographers, and offer to give them credit on the blog for the use of their photographs. I got a new camera for the summer festival circuit, so I am sure that I will have a lot of use for one of the online data storage sites.
